Candidates will participate in theory and practical assessment covering the following:

·        New Roads and Street Works Act 1991

·        Practical use of the Code of Practice

·        Traffic control measures

·        Basic principles of signing, lighting and guarding

·        Practical use of equipment

·        Portable traffic lights

·        Assessment and feedback 

·        Single carriageway up to 60 mph and dual carriageway up to 40 mph

On successful completion candidates will be issued with CABWI Certification and a Street Works Qualification Register card. The qualification is valid for 5 years and renewable.

The minimum entry requirement is a good understanding of spoken and written English.

We are a CITB ATO. Companies that are CITB registered can claim for each candidate on this course. If you supply the company CITB levy number, this will be added to the paperwork and submitted following the course.
