Who are we?
Allenby Training Services is a Limited Company 3784367 and our registered address is 23 Crofton Rd Allenby Trading Estate Lincoln LN3 4NL. We are a work-based training provider established in 1999 and provide accredited and non-accredited training for construction plant, new roads and street works. The company is an accredited centre for CPCS, NPORS, NOCN, City &Guilds and EUSR for the purpose of the new GDPR regulations. Allenby Training Services is the ‘controller’ of the personal data you provide us with to access our services

What information do we collect about you?
Allenby Training Services collect information about you from point of contact (telephone, e-mail etc) but also if you register with us for a course. We must comply with the needs of the certification/ awarding bodies this means we will have to ask for photographic ID, driving licences and copies of previous certifications. These organisations ask us to store your qualification history for up to 7 years in some cases.
If you are working for us we will need confirmation of your skills, copies of qualifications, CV and sensitive personal information such as bank details, next of kin contact details, medical issues/risk assessments, pension information and any direct attachments We can assure you of our continued confidentiality in this regard and all personnel details are under lock and key and only accessed by the Financial Director or Managing Director. These files are kept securely for up to 6 years.
Allenby Training Services use CCTV throughout the premises for the security of its staff and property but also for the safety for its clients. Touch screen tests take place as part of the core business which means we comply with their policy of keeping the recordings for 30 days before they are destroyed.
How will we use the information about you?
We have collected information through voluntary surveys or if you have provided feedback following our courses. This is to help us improve the services we offer you but also shows which areas of business we need to market that are currently underrepresented.
As part of our role to ensure that we offer our training services to under- represented groups we collect information regarding ethnic minority, this again is voluntary.
Recorded CCTV footage will be used to monitor the completion of Touch Screen Tests in compliance with the testing authority. These recordings are kept for 30 days before being cleared
Again, for those working for us personal information is used for the calculation of wages, tax purposes, absenteeism records, all required as part of the HR function. Allenby Training Services carry out staff monthly ‘one to one’ sessions with staff which are recorded and used to evidence annual appraisals. These paper-based records are kept on file with your permission as are any actions or disciplinary evidence. You can view these or have the right to amend if in-correct under the new GDPR regulations. Please seek assistance in the first instance from the finance director or managing director.
Allenby Training Services do not carry out direct marketing, so you will never receive cold calls asking for business. The work of the marketing director and administrators is more account management and involves the processing of your personal data which is received in your e-mails or business calls. Often, we are asked to talk to sites at the request of our customers as well as awarding bodies; this is 3rd party information and will be in future under the customer’s privacy policies in compliance with the new GDPR regulations.
Allenby Training Services have Face book, Twitter and Instagram accounts, access is open to existing and potential clients. The sites post information about Allenby Training, at times there will be course updates and spaces available, new courses and publicity photographs.

If Allenby Training refuses a request, we will tell the individual why and that they have the right to complain to the supervisory authority and to a judicial remedy. An access request will be handled within one month of request.

You have the right to request the removal and destruction of your personal data if it is no longer required for the original purpose that it was collected, or you do not wish to continue to use our services. Please contact us at the address given and we will remove and destroy your personal data
Allenby Training Services recognises its responsibilities in the event of a personal data breach and will report this to the supervisory authority within 72 hours where feasible. If the breach is likely to result in affecting your rights as an individual, we will inform you without delay.
Allenby Training Services will seek to work with GDPR- compliant suppliers and contractors to reduce the risk of being impacted by a data breach

We have used Allenby Training over many years and have formed an excellent working relationship with them; this is mainly due to the staff being very approachable and flexible given the nature of our works/industry. Allenby Training is also very informative and always keeps us educated of the latest training developments within our industry.
