A68 – Plant Driving

Upon successful completion of the Theory and Practical Tests on A68 – Plant Driving, you will be issued with a Red Trained Operator Card.

This card is valid for two years during which time you would need to undertake an NVQ to be able to upgrade to the Blue Competent Operators Card.

(All candidates must have undertaken a Health and Safety Touch Screen Theory Test within the last 2 years.)

CITB Grant possibly available to levy payers.

A68A    Plant Driving – Tracked boom equipped up to 10 t – non-operational only
A68C    Plant Driving – Tracked boom equipped up to 50 t – non-operational only
A68G    Plant Driving – Tracked (blade/shovel) up to 20 t – non-operational only
A68I    Plant Driving – Tracked (blade/shovel) all sizes – non-operational only
A68K    Plant Driving – Wheeled articulated chassis up to 15 t – non-operational only
A68M    Plant Driving – Wheeled articulated chassis all sizes – non-operational only
A68O    Plant Driving – Wheeled rigid chassis up to 15 t – non-operational only
A68Q   Plant Driving – Wheeled rigid chassis all sizes – non-operational only
A68S    Ride-on Roller – non-operational only
